In 1996, Officer Moore (Caseyville, Illinois Police Department), Officer “Vito” Parisi (Sauget, Illinois Police Department), and Officer Otten (O’Fallon, Missouri Police Department) recognized a need for an independant training group with similar training needs and styles. They started The East West Canine Training Group, which became one of the most renowned independant training groups in Missouri and Illinois.  East West K-9 came to include over 20 dog teams (local state and federal) from the Illinois and Missouri St. Louis Metropolitan area,

East West K-9 train in many different places in the ‘metro’ St. Louis area. When East West K-9 began the main training field was located in Sauget, Illinois and was used for training up until early 2007. Currently, as of June 26, 2006 East West K-9’s main training field is located in Bethalto, Illinois, which is also known as ‘Area 51’.

This website will hopefully provide information on The East West K-9 Training Group, along with other vital information to assist fellow K-9 Handlers. The website will also provide information to assist the East West K9 Handlers.
