There are a few things in this world that I go crazy for. Some of those things include things like trading cards, boxes, video games, and, more recently it now also includes jackets/coats! I realized that having a jacket/coat for multiple occasions, moods, and different weather conditions is something that I really enjoy. I have fun both while buying and wearing them. This is especially true when it comes to cold/rainy days, where your old run-of-the-mill jacket/coat just won’t cut it. When days like this rear their ugly heads, I get excited because that means I get to wear my M51 US Parka from Brandit Wear Apparel that I got last Christmas. Out of all the jackets I own and have ever worn in my life, this one surpasses them all as my favorite, and for good reason too! Allow me to enlighten you on why the M51 is a perfect jacket/coat.

It is the many features that this jacket comes with that make it so desirable. The hood is stitched to the entire coat, ensuring that the hood doesn’t fall off like some jackets that have detachable hoods. It is a large and wide hood with drawstring pulls that allow any head size to comfortably fit.  The hood and rest of the jacket on the outside is made of military style print and water-resistant material. The M51 US Parka is also fully stocked with pockets to store personal items. This includes the two side-pockets that are lined with fleece. Great for keeping your hands warm. There are also two more Napoleon-style pockets on the inside of the jacket/coat. These types of pockets on the inside of a coat are always my favorite, and I love it when they are included in the design. Not to mention, Brandit Wear also included hook and loop to the Napoleon packets to be able to secure them closed. Finally, we get to my favorite feature of the Parka! The M51 has a removable inside liner! I love that one of my favorite jackets/coats can simply unbutton the inside liner and transform from a winter coat to a rain coat, or light spring jacket in only a few minutes! Customers can also look up and purchase additional liners from Brandit Wear that have higher insulation ratings!

My personal opinions are nothing but stellar after using the Parka year-round. Yes, even in the summer, on those rainy days. The fishtail execution on the back helps make it stylish while keeping you warm and items safe. Nothing has broken or worn down, which suggests that hopefully my M51 Parka will be with me for much longer.
