ORCA has become a well-known brand for producing high-end and high-quality coolers. Some may not know that they also have an extensive line of drinkware that is designed for the outdoors. From tumblers to water bottles to barrel mugs, martini glasses or wine goblets, they have it all. Their line of hero inspired drinkware includes a Thin Blue Line and a Thin Red Line design as well as designs with the licensed United States Army or United States Navy logos.

ORCA recently sent us samples of their U.S. Army and U.S. Navy licensed tumblers, or Chasers, as they call them. The ORCA Chaser has a 27-oz. capacity and is designed for either cold or hot drinks. It is constructed with an 18/8 stainless steel double walled, vacuum sealed body and a closable BPA-free copolyester lid. This gives the ORCA Chaser the ability to keep cold drinks icy and hot drinks piping hot for long periods of time. I first tried it out with my morning coffee. Even after lunch, there was some coffee left and it still was more than warm. Cold drinks still hold ice hours later.

The lid has a unique and easy-to-close clasp that is shaped like a whale’s tale, similar to the ORCA logo. It flips open easily and seals closed tightly. There is also a small air hole in the lid to help prevent blow back while drinking or putting the lid on.

A portion of the proceeds from the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Chasers go to support veterans and military families through the Boot Campaign nonprofit organization. You can find more information about the Boot Campaign at www.bootcampaign.org. The military logos are very clear and vibrant in color, while the rest of the tumbler has a powder coat matte finish. This finish gives the chaser a little texture, which helps increase one’s grip. The painting and finishing touches are all done in ORCA’s facility in Tennessee.
